Hello! My name is Christine White and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician with 15 years of clinical experience. I live in Polk City, Iowa with my husband Matt, daughter Hazel, son Calvin, and my two kitties, Smokey and Zita. My stepson, Easton, is currently serving in the army.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and my Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from The Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Tinley Park, IL. I started my career in my hometown of Chicago and worked there for three years before moving to Iowa. I have worked at several clinics in the Des Moines metro, including two years at an emergency and critical care hospital and three years at a holistic clinic.

I started Home Comfort Pet Nursing Services in June of 2022 after deciding to leave general practice and raise my daughter full-time. My passion for animal well-being is still as strong as ever and this business allows me to continue to utilize my nursing skills as well as get to know members of my community and their fur babies!
